Kara Rice, Founder
Kara Rice has 25 years of experience in multifamily property management. She began her career with roles including leasing, management, recruiting, and training for both private and publicly held management firms. In 1999, she co-founded Grace Hill, Inc., the apartment industry’s leading provider of online education, where she oversaw the company’s educational courseware and marketing efforts. Additionally, she was part of a leadership team that created a work culture renowned for innovation, enthusiasm, and camaraderie.
In 2016, Kara launched Experiment Learning & Talent Development. Passionate about helping multifamily professionals achieve their growth and development goals, Kara provides interactive, insightful, and practical instructor-led seminars, both in-person and virtual, to owner/manager teams and industry associations. Kara is a frequent presenter at multifamily conferences including the National Apartment Association (NAA) Annual Education Conference, National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) Human Resources Conference, Texas Apartment Association’s Education Conference (TAA), Georgia Apartment Association Annual Meeting and Education Conference (GAA), and Multifamilypro’s Multifamily Housing Brainstorming Sessions. She has taught numerous NAA designation courses including Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP). Additionally, Kara is a licensed Florida real estate sales associate and owns and manages rental property.
Born and raised in the Boston area, Kara now resides in sunny Boca Raton, Florida with her husband and three children. And, she is obsessed with the Broadway musical Hamilton.
